This is a very quick read that was a lot of fun. The story has a fun YA feel to it. Must be because the heroine is still in high school.  Theodora has been tapped to go into space with the IASA. Funny thing is she never applied. The nice thing about this being a novella the story line isn't dragged out. I would like to see more of this universe just to see how well the DA program works for them.

I liked the other stories. David Gerrold, Harry Turtledove, Larry Niven, Mercedes Lackey contributed stories. It sold well. Mike Resnick said that the line to get the book signed by every contributor was long while the line for Walter Koenig (signing at the smae time)was non existent. If you want I can loan you mine.
