Bryn wins a luxe trip to Las Vegas and is immediately hooks up with a man that turns out to be the owner of the hotel she is staying at.  The next morning Caiden finds himself in bed with a woman he doesn’t remember and is now married to her. Caiden isn’t just a wealthy hotel owner; he is actually the Dark Fae king and to marry activates a curse that makes him very easy to kill.  As he is uncovering the plot that set this plan in motion, he finds he can’t just divorce Bryn because of the ceremony that was done while they were both under a spell. This is a hot strangers to lovers story with a  secret world of Fae living in Las Vegas.  A fun read.

#42 The Nameless Restaurant by Tao Wong, Emily Woo Zeller (Narrator)

 

This audio book is a gem, the narrator is great and I have enjoyed other books she has done.  There is a hidden restaurant in down an alley in Toronto and very few people find it but they eat some amazing food when they do. But most of the guests are not what they seem, and they do try to hide what they are when a normal comes in.  The staff and owner/chef both know what they are dealing with and make incredible dishes for everyone to eat.  This is more of a cozy day in the life in the restaurant where you get glimpses of what could be in the great universe in this setting.  An amuse bouche of  a story and I hope to see more set in this universe.
