#53 Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs

This is a start of a new series but most of the players have been introduced in Brigg's series on Mercy Thompson. But you don't have to have read those books to read this one. Charles and Anna get together in a short story from an anthology that I can't remember at the moment and this book picks up right at the end of the short story. If you didn't read it, no worries she will spend the first part of the book dropping info in for the new reader. I have to say that her ideas about omega werewolves is very interesting and it is nice to see something a bit different done with werewolves.

I *think* the short story was in On the Prowl, yet another on my huge to be read list ;)

Sounds right. I know I read that one because there is a Sunny story in that one. The plus side on the short stories is you don't have to sit down and read the entire book. Just one and put it down and you don't have to worry about forgetting stuff or misplacing the book for a month or more. LOL
