This is the sequel to The Dragon Delasangre. I've had it a while and finally dug it out to read along with the sequel Seadragon's Daughter. With this book it is 4 years after the events in book 1. This is mostly a book about Peter getting the younger sister of his dead wife to be his new wife. He was a bit underhanded according to dragon traditions to get Chole as his mate. During the wedding ceremony, is in-laws betray him for his money. In the end, you finally hear about the history of dragons and he fixes things with his in-laws. I was left wanting more and was quite happy to have the next book on hand to read.
