This is the 6th book in the Merry Gentry series.  There is more plot which is good but the book is less than 300 pages. Of course I read the ARC but Amazon says the book has 350 pages so maybe there is more. I guess if it went over 300 pages then there would be more sex.  At least there is some movement in the meta plot of the series but of course it comes with a price. Should be interesting what happens next since you don't see the results of the bombshell that gets dropped in this book.

The Merry Gentry stuff is sex sex and more sex. When the goal is who can get pregnant first to be the heir that is what you will get. Total junk food. Granted I do like reading it. The sex didn't bother me that much in this series since it was up front about it. The Anita Blake evolved into it, granted the last Anita book actually had some plot and only 4 sex scenes.

Book hits stores on Tuesday. Early peek at Doyle.... Ok for once he isn't wearing black in the beginning of the book.
