I'm back from Dragoncon but still not caught up. Hopefully after this weekend life should return to normal. Con was good and was glad to see lots of people that I talk to online.

Honestly my feet ached liked there was no tomorrow. I never even got to wear my heels I packed for one night. The crowds were crazy insane. It didn't help the Mariott had areas shut down. Load in was a total nightmare, over 4 hours for me to unload the truck.

I am always amazed that hotels choose holiday weekends to have zone out areas for repairs/upgrades. I mean, why not choose the first weekend of August?!? Nothing is going on in atlanta that time of year! Noooo, gots to do it over LaborDay weekend!

Oh the Mariott has been doing renevations for over a year now. They will be finished in May 2008. The Exhibit hall will be on both sides of the Mariott next year. Not sure where the Art show will go or if it will stay in the place it was this year.

Feh, don't care where art show goes... we aren't a part of that any longer. If we go next year, it will be as PARTICIPANTS... since we'll only be 1.5 hours away we won't need a hotel :)

I like running over to the art show. I can do it if it is in the same hotel. But no can do if it is in a seperate hotel.

Maybe we'll volunteer to be part time booth flunkies for you next year. By then I'll be so cut and buff you could use me as advertising for your naughty-section ;)

Because we'll be so close by we may be able to help with load in and load out for you... we'll work that out next year. (I know, you hate it when you have an extra set of arms and back to lug about books)

if that's the case, will you need to get us expo-badges that we pay you back for?

I can get two extra badges at $45 each on the Thursday before Dragoncon.

coolness, then maybe next year you'll have a chance to run off to see things once or twice.... but I'll have to wear a button on my leather jockstrap that says "I don't know anything; I'm just pretty." so no one will ask me questions about your books.

ooooh, or maybe I should wear a button that says "Talk to my top." and have it pointing in Tom's direction *ROTFLMAO*

I swear everyone at the show that doesn't know me is convinced that Tom runs the booth. Tom just lets them go on and on and then tells them I don't know ask the boss. Unless it is art and then he can spring into action.

You know he would just get the same damn button and have it pointing to me. Guess I need one as well and have it pointing to you. Just to screw with everyone.
