Yes I got it and I tried to make it last but it didn't work. I'm not saying a damn thing about what happens because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. My only complaint is the epilogue is too short.

Toward the end of the book, when someone bought the farm, I had the urge to start humming "He Stopped Loving Her Today", by George Jones.

The song didn't actually occur to me when the individual died, but in the aftermath, when we find out what was going on with him.
