Dorthey gets a call from her nephew Ruthie asking questions about babies. It turns out that a baby has been left on his doorstep and now he wants to raise the child. The only issue is no one should be able to conceive on the ship but somehow a baby was born but no one is stepping forward to claim it.  Finding the parents doesn’t take long but the mother has no memory of the child or being pregnant and on top of all that she just came from sickbay in a new body after having a stoke and her memory book hadn’t been updated in over a year.

A tidy mystery that is solved in the end and now to wait if there will be more mysteries for Dorthy, ship’s detective to solve.
