missingvolumeA fun enemy to lovers type SF romance. Vesper is a lab rat that figured out too much bad stuff and now her boss is planning on killing her. When she is dumped into a group of conscript soldiers with no way to communicate, she manages to survive and save the life of Kyrion. Now the two of them have a psychic bond they don’t want and must work together to uncover the plot and save Kyrion from one of the Emperor’s plots. There isn’t a HEA at the end of this but there is a second book. It was entertaining and Im sure I’ll get around to reading the next one.
