Eric was convinced he was dead and in the Aztec land of the dead and then he is back in LA looking mostly the same as before except for a few cosmetic changes.  LA is still trying to rebuild from the fires and not everyone is happy to see him back among the living.  He is still dealing with Darius trying to get his bottle back and the mystery of why he is back in the land of the living.  A good start to a new story arc in this series.
