The thirtieth book in the series not counting some Between the Numbers books have words said that haven’t been said before.  Stephanie is looking for a guy that jumped off a building while he missed his court date for robbing a jewelry store.  And then said store owner also wants her to find his missing guard that he accused of taking a tray of diamonds out of the safe the same day he was robbed.  As usual things are not what they seem, and she taps Ranger for help along with one of her former bail jumpers for his expertise.  Morrelli is out of town so Lula and Stephane have a new partner riding along, Bob the dog.  Bob was great and I have to wonder if we will see more of him riding along with the gang.  The book ends on a big cliffhanger that hopefully will see a conclusion in the next book.
