missingvolumeThis is a stand alone novel. It is set in LA but Bosch never shows up and I still like it. ;-) I have to say that I have never been disappointed by a Michael Connelly book and I hope I never will be.
Mickey is a defense attorney that is constantly on the go. A big case drops into his lap and his world changes. Thanks to evidence that he uncovers as the case progresses, what he assumed in the past turns out to be not true and it sends him for a tumble. Things pick up speed at the end in end and come to a big finish. I have to say I can see this novel turning into a really nice movie like Blood Music did.
