missingvolumeThe audio version has two novellas recorded together so I’ll do this as one review. These are a spin off of the Kitty books, Cormac is out of jail but now hosts the spirt of a female wizard from Victorian England. Amelia was hanged for a murder she didn’t commit but her ghost haunted the prison where she died. The first novella deals with them investing a death of a man that starved to death almost overnight in a cabin near Donner Pass. The second novella deals with revenge on Cormac on vampire hunting he did before he met Amelia. Both stories are good and it makes for a nice series set in a already designed story universe.
