This was one I picked up just to read on vacation. I had read the first book in the series on my last trip and thought it would be cool to read the sequel on this one. This one doesn't feel quite as rushed as the first book then. More stuff is explained to the reader but in the end the action doesn't take place over that much time. I hope the series doesn't go to the day in a life type of series. In the end there is no real resolution. She makes her decision not because this is what she wants to do but more of a lesser of two evils. Cassie has several obstacles to defeat before I think the series can really find a good strong footing. And I hope that comes soon since it seems to be a cool idea of a series.
