This is the third book in the series and follows a few months after the events in Kitty goes to Washington. Now that she is outed as a werewolf she decides to retreat and write her life story. Of course she can't get anything on paper and is starting to have problems with her cabin in the woods. Her lawyer gets bitten helping out his cousin Cormac with a werewolf hunt. The story is him adjusting to this and Kitty dealing with her neighbors not liking her and someone is now trying to chase her out with charms and dead animals.  I won't say anymore about what happens but I like this series and hope that it continues.
