missingvolumeThis novella fits between the first and second book, but I didn’t read it until after book two. The POV character is Vanessa, who was actually once worshiped as Venus. She likes to play matchmaker and figures after being invited to Kennedy’s grand opening in her hometown this would be a great time to do it. She decides on using the town mystery of a disappearing girl from 50 years ago to see if she can spark something more between Kennedy and Aidan. The mystery gets solved but no more additional sparks fly. It is a cute story and you see a bit more of the immortals in this story universe.
