#16 Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky

This was an ok book. Several chapters duplicated the same info. Lots of neat facts about how salt factored into history, politics and war. Part of me is interested in reading his book on Cod but I think that anything interesting he had to say about cod was mentioned in this book. Now I need to track down some more foodie nonfiction to read. So if anyone has any leads just leave me a comment.

I like the beach I will just take SPF 50 sunscreen with me.

Did I mention that it took 4 months of off and on reading to finish this?
