missingvolumeThis collection not so much introducing Captain Marvel to the world as a good starting point for someone to read about an established character without knowing all the back story. Captain Marvel decides to go off planet for a while and helps some refugees that are being dying on a world they have recently been resettled to and are now being forced off in an attempt to save them from a mystery illness. A good collection to read if you are only familiar with the movie version and want a taste of what she can be without it being an origin story.
