#67 Dark Sacred Night by Michael Connelly

When Harry meets Renee, ok now that cutesy line is out of the way we can get to the meat of the story. Renee catches Harry poking through the cold cases. After explaining the situation, she reluctantly agrees to help him out. Harry is trying to solve Daisy’s murder as a promise to her mother that he met in the previous book. Her mother is a recovering addict that Harry is letting stay at his house to the detriment of his relationship with his daughter. Harry is also still working down in San Fernando trying to clear a cold case. Things get messy with that case but there is no overlap between the two. The ending left the feeling that Harry may have crossed a personal line. Not really sure what will happen next, but I can’t wait to find out.
