I read these books for a few hours of entertainment, but they are by no means deep reading. For a twist to this one Diesel is camping out in Stephanie’s apt while he is hunting down someone. Stephanie and Lulu seem to be more of a soft touch in this book with caring for a snake, giving someone a camera to film zombies in exchange for a producer credit in the film and going home overnight to recover from being shot in the foot. The books have almost a bingo card quality about them but they are good for a few hours of reading so I’ll keep reading them and thinking about them as literary potato chips.
