The latest installment has several plot threads that finally come to a conclusion. Does Daav return home, does Theo return home even stuff going back to the Crystal duology shows up here. Is it the end of the series, no it isn’t since there is still the Department’s agents that want to get them. Surebleak is still growing and changing due to Korval moving there. Shan isn’t heard from in this book and the ending certainly has you leaving the reader on edge as to the new arrivals to Surebleak have to say to Korval. As much as I enjoyed things in the book the last few pages were the best and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
