The eighth book in the series feels like a turning point in the overall story arc. For the most part the three druids are apart moving along in their lives.  Atticus is working on vampire killing, Owen is going to start a school and Granuaile is working with the Polish witches to evade Loki’s divination powers.  Things get rolling quickly at the end but it is a bit of slow build up with some pieces setting in motion for later books. A good read that picks up speed very quickly in the end.
