#46 Firestorm by Rachel Caine
Sep. 13th, 2006 08:41 pmOk now I think I might be caught up on the posting of the backlog of reading.
Firestorm is the fifth book in the Weather Wardens series. I do enjoy the series but every freaking one seems to end with a cliffhanger. Not true I guess since book 3 didn't leave you hanging. Just feels that way sometimes. In this one we find out what the djinn worship and more details to the interlocking relationship of Mother Earth with the djinn and wardens. This is a series that you must catch at the beginning or you will miss some details. Granted there is flashbacks throughout the book when necessary for the reader to catch up. I do get a laugh at the heroine and her shoe hangup. And of course this book ends on a cliffhanger as well. A series that if you start you will want several of the books to read back to back.
