I had been hearing a lot about this comic so I requested a review copy to check it out. From the start the art is great and very in your face with its style. The setting is what left me on edge, dystopian stories for the most part depress me and this was hugely dystopian for the female characters in the book. For the most part the women carrying the plot along are strong women that don’t fit in the narrowly defined roles society has placed on them. I’m hoping that there will be a happy ending at the end of all the issues but I’m tapping out before that comes to pass. I will say the small details in the book are great and the ads that are placed at the back of every issue are entertaining as hell. A well done book but just not one for me.
