#94 Tower of Thorns by Juliet Marillier
Nov. 2nd, 2015 09:28 pmI only recently started reading this series. I got this review copy for the second book and decided to read the first book so I wouldn’t get lost. The nice thing is I think you don’t have to read the first book to understand what is happening to both Blackthorn and Grim. I did cry when you finally find out what happened to Grim that made him the way he is. Blackthorn is still driven by revenge and in this story a friend from her past finds her and offers her an opportunity for revenge that she can’t pass up. Along the way and to throw Grim off the scent that she is going to break her seven year vow she takes up the challenge of freeing Lady Geiléis from a curse that plagues her land. Of course not everything is as it appears with the curse and information about it appears to be lost in the mists of time.
