This seems to be a good starter for someone that doesn’t know much about BatGirl. Barbara has moved to the other side of town and is getting ready to start back at college. The story like has her hitting bumps in her personal life that spill over into her vigilante life. When her laptop is stolen from her apt during a party her only copy of her thesis goes missing. She is on the hunt for it and the trail ends up bringing more trouble than just replacing lost schoolwork. She does make some mistakes in trying to find a place for herself in her new neighborhood and in making her way as an adult and a crime fighter. There isn’t much crossover with other people out of the usual DC universe with the exception of Black Canary. An entertaining read and I’ll keep my eye out for the next collection.
