Well books 3 and 4 both seemed shorter and they didn't seem quite as fun as I remember the first two being. Each story seemed rushed to a conclusion. Of course since both books don't even hit 300 pages in a small format hardcover they are going to feel short. I doubt I will hurry and get the next one to read since it comes out this month. Maybe I'll wait until book 6 comes out. I've got more of her books coming but I don't think I will take it on vacation since I would rather have something a bit more meatier to read on the trip.

Have you ever read a 'short' book that felt like you'd read an exceptional, long, rich story?

Good question. I'll have to think about it a bit. I take it you mean short novel and not a novella?
