missingvolume: (books cats)

The sixth book starts right off with Atticus and Granuaile being chased by the Greek and Roman goddesses of the hunt and they are catching up. They get away but only at a great cost. And no I don't want to say what. This book is about wrapping up threads from older books and it does it well. Of course there is an ending that leaves you wanting more. There are some surprising actions by people but all gets explained by a previous e book only novella that gets added to the end of this book. A very nice bonus to find.

How about the crazy gap from the last complete novel and present day (in the novel)?

Some of that is covered in the novella but it seems for the most part they lie low and train Granuaile and that is about it. The novella covers over most of it along with making sense of the new allies that Atticus acquires in the story. So you can read the novella first, which makes sense since it came out last year and then read the book.

I read the novella and then Hunted. I was looking forward to reading about the training, rather like the Harry/Molly relationship that stretches over half the Dresden series.
