So on a sleepless night I downloaded this and figured I would reread it since it had to be more than twenty years since I had last read it. The sad thing is all I could recall of the book was tied up in my memories of the movie and that leaves a lot of the book out. An enjoyable read and was a nice surprise to see all the bits I had forgotten. I'll be reading more of the books I think since there are so many of them and lots of sleepless nights.

I'm reading the series to my daughter now (we're currently on "Tik-Tok of Oz"). One of my favorite series of all time and highly influential on me, as I wrote about on my site.

It will be one of those I will pick at filling in the cracks of the sleepless nights. So it will be a while before I get to that one.
