#33 Lore of the Wilds by Analeigh Sbrana

 

Lore lives in a village in the woods trapped by the Fae. Things are hard for her people, and she makes a deal with a Fae to work in an enchanted library that no Fae can enter.  The only friendly face in the castle is a Fae guard that helps her acclimate to living and working there.  She escapes with a magical book and finds some allies along the way.  The pacing jumps around, and things work out almost too well. There is a big reveal with one of the main characters and but by the end of this I don’t feel like I need to read the next one
