#15 Forbidden by Kelley Armstrong

The story can be read as a stand alone or read after the events in Frostbitten. If you haven't read Frostbitten then the main plot is told to you in a sentence but I don't think it ruins the entire book.  Elena and Clay go to help Morgan who is in jail after being found in the woods naked and surrounded by paw prints. Turns out there have been some murders in the town and it looks like it might be a werewolf mutt or it could be a human killer. This is a quick mystery and shows Elena coming to grips with the idea of becoming the Alpha of the pack. The only real complaint I had to the book was the placement of the color plates in the story gave away the suspense of if Elena and Clay would rescue Morgan in time.
