#109 Kindred in Death by J D Robb

The 29th book in the series covers a series of murders done for revenge of of a lie. Once again the story is entertaining and there is also progress on the personal front of Eve's friends. I also read the newest short story in the collection Lost but didn't bother reading the rest of the stories. The short story is a twist on a locked room murder and this one is based on revenge but the difference is this is more of a righteous revenge killing.

#110 Bound to Shadows by Keri Arthur

Riley is dealing with trying to ignore finding her wolf soulmate since she finds him so vile as a hired killer and trying to solve a murder case that the bad guy seems to be a vampire. The universe of this book is realistic and there are always consequences in what happens in this world.

#111 Soulless by Gail Carriger

Soulless is a fun urban fantasy set in Victorian England. Alexia is a rare "soulless" person, if a werewolf or vampire comes near her their power is temporary negated. Vampires and werewolves are safely integrated in Victorian society and to the dismay of a government group there are unregistered vampires out on the street. Alexia crosses wits with Lord Maccon over this as he tries to investigate it. The story is a fun romp in urban fantasy mixed with a bit of comedy of manners. I'm waiting for the next one.
