I'm so behind blogging my reading. I'm hoping to get caught up soonish.

This is the 5th book in the series. Laurence and Tremeraire returned to England to face the music of their actions at the end of book 4. I really don't want to get into what happens since it ruins what happens to them in the beginning of the book. I enjoyed it and I will be wanting to read the next one. The series is definitely for people that like Napoleonic time frame fiction.

This is the 6th book in the series. This one had less sex than the other books in this paranormal romance series.  Riley has sworn off men for the most part since having her heart broken. Of course this doesn't last long when she catches up with Quinn. It is nice that as the series is going on Riley is becoming used to the fact that she will not be able to have her dream of a family and white picket fence home. That Quinn is trying to get used to her nature and not remake her into what he wants bodes well for a happy ending for her by the end of the series.  The mystery part of the book was good and it was interesting to see some different myths trotted out as bad guys instead of the same old same old that gets used to death.
