Book #8 The Game by Laurie R King
Feb. 1st, 2006 04:42 pmThis is book 7 in the Mary Russell series. The series is based on the idea that Sherlock Holmes is alive and retired. It has been a long time since I had read anything in the series and I accidentally skipped one of the books. I hate when I do that just a pet peeve of mine.
The book is based in India and it references Kipling's Kim quite a bit. In fact Kimball O'Hara "Kim" is missing. It is hard to describe the book without giving out too much of the plot. Mary Russell seems to be almost too collected and calm most of the time. Granted she panics in her head but never out loud. Yes I'll keep reading the books and the next book up is the next book in this series.
