The Children of the Company by Kage Baker
Sep. 21st, 2005 11:05 pmWell I have mixed feelings about this book. One the one side I enjoyed the heck out of it as I have with all the other Company novels of Kage Baker. The other side is wailing and pulling my hair because we still don't get to the year 2355. WHAT HAPPENS!!!!! Where is Mendoza?! Granted I got more back story on Lewis, who hits a special place in my heart since he is a literature specialist. If you are a big fan of the Company books and stories you might be a bit disappointed if you have read every short story out there. Several short stories were weaved into the book. I also have to admit that it seems to be a good book if you were coming in on this series cold.
Also mark me down for another JD Robb book done, Judgment in Death. I'm also working on a 3 in 1 novel as well and I will count it as 3 books. I still have more stuff to be added to the list but I'll get to it later.
