Catching up again on the reading log
Sep. 17th, 2005 07:55 pmMoving things around on the shelves while unboxing from Dragoncon reminded me there were a few books that I hadn't logged into the system.
Undead and Unemployed by MaryJanice Davidson
Book 2 in the series. Betsy is still getting the hang of being the Queen of the Vampires. More shoes, clothes and vampire politics in this book. Total chick lit with vampire problems. Way way too much fun. I'll hold off on the rest for when I know I need a light read. I say this but I'll probably really wait until I have 3 & 4 in hand. ;-)
Sanctuary by Mercedes Lackey
Book 3 of her Dragon Jousters series. Book 3 felt a bit rushed as if for some reason it got chopped in half. I don't know if it is true or not. I still liked it. Again nice light entertainment for a few hours.
I'm reading the JD Robb books from the library and now I had to skip one. The waiting time for them is insane.
Loyalty in Death and Witness in Death. I enjoyed Witness in Death more since it was a twist on Agatha Christie. Not much to say about them except they are again fun books.
Still working on the new Kage Baker book The Children of the Company. I'm slowly reading it to make it last.
