Max "the Wolf", a boy scout finds himself in woods that are unfamiliar to him and alone from his troop. As he travels to find a way back to everyone he knows he meets several talking animals and during the journey learns more about the woods he found himself in. I really don't want to say too much and give away the story but I really liked it and it was a good YA story that certainly didn't feel as if there will be lots more to come.
