Weber's first foray into the YA market was a fun read. It was great to read a non door stopper by Weber. The first half of the book is a retelling of a story from a previous Honor Harrington anthology but the second half is all new. Granted the second have brings in the evil galactic corporations and that does get a bit old and the good guys win in the end.  I'll be looking for the second one of this series a bit more than the next  Honor Harrington book.

I was looking at that, wondering if we ought to order it in for our library - thanks for the review!

Oh it is a good SF YA book and I would say yes order it. I can see he is working on a romance in the future but I don't think it will ever be the focus.
