This book had been sitting in my TBR for a while I had picked it up on a lark and finally got around to it. Genny is a fey that works for a witch company called Spellcrackers. Due to old laws witches and vampires don't associate with one another but Genny gets roped into helping a vampire in a murder case due to the fact she isn't a witch and someone calling in a favor. In this London vampires are out and about and are treated like rock stars with clubs and calendars. Due to past experiences Genny is very happy to be working with the witches also out in society and using spells to help people prevent others doing them wrong by people quite happy to sell a hex or charm do harm. I liked the setting and the slow reveal of the society and how Genny fits into it along with the dark side of the vampires also being shown and people trying to pick up the pieces after vampire attacks or bite addiction. Now just to wait for the next book I could order it from the UK since they are a year ahead of us but I will be good.
