Three short stories in an urban fantasy setting that use two of her earlier heroines from urban fantasies she wrote a long tine ago. She does preface each story letting the reader know where in time the story is set and why cell phones were not used to move the plot along. The first is a Diana Tregarde story set very early in her Guardian days, the second is a Jennifer Talldeer story set after her one book and the third is a modern day setting in an online game. It was nice seeing old faces and the new story was enjoyable as well with the plus being you really didn't need to have read any of the other books to understand what was going on in the story.
