missingvolume | #70 Overthrowing Heaven by Mark L. Van Name

This is the third book in the series but I have to say it can be read as a stand alone. Granted some details of the previous books are mentioned but it doesn't work into the current plot that much. Fans of mysteries will like the books since it is written more as a mystery. About the only thing that is getting on my nerves about the books is the main character is "stuck" in a certain behavioral phase and it is irritating to the reader. At some point he is going to have to either build a bridge and get over his past or the author will finally let this over arcing plot thread get tied off at some point.
