This is the start of a new series. The idea was interesting but I had a real problem getting excited about it. Maxine comes from a long line of demon hunters. Living tattoos are passed down from mother to daughter upon death of the mother for generations. The hunter is constantly fighting the demons that slip out of a jail in another dimension. The walls are crumbling down on the prison and even scarier demons are starting to slip into our world. I don't think I'll be picking up the next book unless I don't have anything else to read at the moment.
