#69 Empire of Ivory by Naomi Novik

This book follows right ont he heels of Black Power War. Temeraire and Laurence are sent to Africa in hopes of finding a cure for the dragon illness. This time we see how African dragons are treated. This was enjoyable but part of me didn't want to be shown the dark side of British colonialism. I guess if I wanted that I could read a history book. But it didn't stop me from reading or wanting the next book since once again it ends on a cliffhanger.
