missingvolumeThis is the first in a YA vampire series. The town is run by vamps. Every family is under a vamp protection, pay a 2 pint a month blood tax and doing their bidding. The town has a college and the college pays its taxes but allowing 2% of the unprotected students to be culled. Interesting setup and a really fast read. I'll be getting the next one to read.
