Robert is a dragon exterminator, like his father before him. His father is dead and he runs the family business and keeps some of the small dragons as pets.  They infest homes and are sold at the market for their meat and hides.  When the King comes to Robert to help clear the castle of a bad infestation, he meets the Princess who is entertaining princely suiters that she isn’t interested in until she meets a new one and now everything has to be just so in the castle.  This is a nice fun fantasy book and left me with a warm feeling reading it
