Marlow is a bestselling writer that is late with her next novel, but she has some secrets that no one would believe. She has an invisible lover that she isn’t sure is a figment of her imagination until he attacks and kills a stalker from her previous life as a highly paid escort.  It turns out that the stalker has demon living in the basement that he has been feeding all of his kills. When Marlow actually sees the invisible demon things start coming together to move the plot forward.  The story was a bit all over the place and I found it hard to really care for the character.  I will not be reading any more in this series.
