#20 White Night by Jim Butcher

The latest Dresden Files novel. I have to admit that this just keeps getting better and better. My number one rave on the book  is a major storyline is wrapped up by the end of this. That a writer can do this now is amazing. Some writers just keep adding new plot lines to their series but never really wrap one up. This one did and boy did that make me a happy camper.

All I can say is this isn't the book to start the series with but start the series you must! Now to sit and wait and wait for the next book. Maybe I'll catch up on the episodes that I missed on SciFi Channel.

And nope I'm still not caught up on my reviews and I still have a few books I'm in the middle of reading.

That would rock

I think Murphy finally being let in on all the secrets would be amazing

Murphy needs to know. The council had better start letting some mundanes know about them or they will fail.

For a Few Demons More one is good and it is a turning point book in the series as well.

Just finished it and was about to post

I LOVED this one, I have loved each of the Rachel Morgan books better than the last.

Very much a turning point, I kept hoping the one thing was a ruse or a mistake or anything but what it was

Its tough not to love/hate Trent tho. Hes...very...pragmatic. He does what he feels he needs to do and yet is still partially good (imho)

I would like more info on the Elves, I think that would rock...Specially Quen, that guys killer

I'm sure the elves will get more airplay in upcoming books.

So, haven't read any, but am digging the TV series. Have I ruined it for myself, or shall I dive in?

Dive in. The changes that they have done for the show will not kill you. I haven't seen all the episodes but at least one was cribbed from one of the early books. They changed some things but again nothing horrible. The early ones you can read out of order but by book 4 you really need to read in order or you will miss out. I'm a read in order kind of person but listening to the podcast about the books they were saying that 1-3 don't HAVE to be read first but if you want back story you really want to read them. Once you get into the series you really need to read them in order.
