The third book has Eric going down to Mexico to see how he can break his marriage with Santa Muerte.  As the jade slowly creeping over his body every time he uses the magic of her former husband [who is trapped in jade] his time is coming to an end where he will be trapped in the jade instead of the ex-husband, the King of the Dead. He enters the Aztec land of the dead and does meet people he has sent there and finds out that things are not working correctly, and he needs to fix that in order to get to the final part of the lands and face Santa Muerte and get free from her once and for all.  But Eric’s own actions from previous books continue to factor in what happens here.   Another entertaining audio book with a great cast and I can’t wait to spend time in the car so I can listen to the next one.
