This story finds Dimity all grown up from the Finishing School and working as a successful spy for her Majesty’s government. It seems that she has feelings for her handler the War Office has given her for a mission into a vampire hive that is going Goth. Dimity and Sir Crispin must play husband and wife as they work to turn this failing hive around before the vampire queen will have to be staked. A few characters from the Parasol Protectorate make a cameo with makes this story all the more fun. A sweet story with the additional of finding out more about hives and how they work outside of London.
