missingvolumeThis novella is set timewise after Penric and the Shaman and has both Locator Oswyl and Shaman Inglis working on a case of a murdered sorceress. Penric is learning more about shamanic magics during this time frame and hunting down missing demons. A nice little murder mystery in this setting and anything with more Penric and Desdemona is always a plus.
